In-Touch Science: Incentives!
Help with the Project Evaluation and Receive Extra Supplies and Publications for your Program

Definitions  

  • A Youth Activity Evaluation is the two-page form that you can photocopy from the publications or download by clicking here. It contains information for a group of children (probably 5-10) for one session (two activities).

  • A telephone interview consists of a conversation of up to 15 minutes with an evaluator from the In-Touch Science team who will ask about your experience using In-Touch Science. If you are willing to be interviewed, please contact Charlotte Coffman. An online form will be available shortly.

Bonus Awards Category I

For every 5 evaluation forms you submit, select one award from this list:
  • 1 carton of activated filter carbon for Chemistry and Environment (Activity 4B)
  • 1 large ziplock bag of wool fleece for Fibers and Animals (Activities 1A and 3B)
  • 2 nutcrackers for Plants and Engineering (Activity 1A)
  • 10 magnifying lenses for various activities
  • 10 plastic medicine droppers for various activities
  • 20 medicine measuring cups for Fibers and Animals (Activity 3A)
Bonus Awards Category II

For every 10 evaluation forms or single telephone interview with an In-Touch Science evaluator, select an award from this list:
  • 1 In-Touch Science publication (your choice)
  • 1 pound of gel for Chemistry and Environment (Activity 3B)
  • 2 rolls of reflective tape (1 red and 1 white) for Fibers and Animals (Activity 2A)
  • 2 student thermometers (safety, non-mercury) for Plants and Engineering (Activities 3A and 3B)
  • 2 pairs of safety glasses for various activities
  • l large ziplock bag of down and flight feathers for Fibers & Animals (Activity 1B)
